Footbridge construction in Chailles, on the Cosson

Development works are in progress at the moment in Chailles and should enable cyclists but also pedestrians to circulate freely and more safely.

First of all, a new cycle path section has seen the light just before Chailles, thus enabling to join the village without making any detours like before. At the moment, the path is passable but is not yet in service as we can notice it on the pictures.

Second of all, in the extension of this new path, a footbridge has just been installed. This one span the Cosson on about ten metres and so will be meant for cyclists but pedestrians as well. Not completely finished, it is not accessible yet but soon we will be able to take this new infrastructure and enjoy the path along the Cosson. But for now, patience…
